Dr. Utpal Kumar Kundu is working at the National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital as a unit head of the Oculoplasty Department. He is also working as Unit head of the dacryology dept. of that Hospital.

Dr. Utpal Kumar Kundu received his MBBS from Rangpur Medical College in 1990. He holds DO (Diploma in Ophthalmology) in 2000 from the National Institute of Ophthalmology, Dhaka under the University of Dhaka also Holds an MS (Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology) Degree from the same University in 2010 & and holds MCPS (Ophthalmology) from Bangladesh College of physicians & surgeons in 2010. He also obtained his Long-term fellowship in Oculoplary and dacryology.

He has kin interest in dacryology, Ocular aesthetics & also orbital diseases, squints National, and laser DCR operation.

Dr. Utpal has attended many international conferences on Ophthalmology as an invited guest. He has many Research Publications in different journals in the National and international level.

Dr. Utpal has contributed as an educator of public health & and eye awareness programs in different print media.
