LT Col (Dr.) Rina Akter earned her MBBS degree from Mymensingh Medical College in January 2004. She obtained a Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in January 2015, followed by a Master of Science in Ophthalmology (MCPS) from BUP in January 2013.

In her pursuit of excellence, LT Col Rina achieved the prestigious FCPS in Ophthalmology in July 2015. These academic milestones were a testament to her unwavering dedication to the field of eye care.

LT Col Rina's journey in the medical field spans over 15 years, primarily as a Classified Eye Specialist in various Combined Military Hospitals. Her service has been marked by a deep commitment to her patients, providing them with the gift of sight and hope.

Beyond her clinical work, LT Col Rina has made significant contributions to her field. She is the principal author of two publications (Principal author-02, Co-author-01), highlighting her dedication to advancing ophthalmological knowledge.
